This man is the inventive legacy Leonardo Da Vinci. I guess he could be called a true Rennaisance man. He designed machines hundreds of years ahead of his time. He designed both a submarine and a helicopter. He was a mass inventor of war machines. Along with this though he was an amazing painter. He painted the Mono Lisa, one of the most famous paintings in the world, and painted the Florentine Dome for the medichis in the city where the Rennaisance all began, Florence, Italy.
This is a picture of one Leonardos machines, a helicopter in fact. It was never actually made though unfortunately.
This is another machine Leonardo made. This one was a war machine, a giant crossbow. It was never made for it would take to many materials but even if it were, it would be more for intimitation than damage. This is one thing Leonardo knew was very important, unlike his rivals. Legitimately it would be made 27 feet across and have 6 wheels.
And lastly, a picture of the Mona Lisa. This is one of his most famous works of art. It was painted in 1503.

Your post is filled with facts, and it has good pictures that show his mastermind at work.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to spend a photo safari with daVinci, but he is not as cool as I am.
